Mass Choir ages 18 and up, rehearsals are 7pm each Tuesday before the third Sunday and Fourth Sunday

SUNDAY SCHOOL is for EVERYONE!

We invite you to join us each Sunday 8:30 am-9:30 am for Sunday School.

We offer classes for preschool through adult students, where we learn about the Word of God and how we can effectively apply it to our daily lives. Our Spirit- filled instructors anxiously awaiting your presence.  Join us--you will surely be blessed.

​The Vera A Mumford Community Day Program:

 The Vera M. Mumford Community Day program every Tuesday-
Thursday 10AM -2PM all are welcome. Special guest Rochelle
Graham – Mindful Living Therapy & Counseling. She will be sharing
information on Strong Minds, Peaceful Hearts: “Mental Wellness
in Every Season of Life”.

Wednesday Night Family Bible Fellowship

Dinner at 6:00pm
followed by bible study at 6:30 in the Fellowship Hall

Topic: “How to Embrace Your Identity in Christ”.

 

Wednesday Night Youth Ministry Bible Study

followed by bible study in Room 3

The Men’s Fellowship is selling Praying Hands

Praying Hands is a collection of sketched art pictures and inspirational

scriptures featuring the men of Second Baptist Church. All proceeds are
donated to the scholarship fund. Hard copy $37, Soft copy $30.

SAVE THE DATE-----Sunday June 22nd!!! Please join the SBC
Youth Advisors as we celebrate our youth advancing to the next
grade. This event will be held immediately after service followed by a
fellowship luncheon. We want to be sure to include all children of all
ages and grades so they can be recognized for their achievements. If
you haven't already done so, please see Minister Davina Ward to
register your child. 



SBC Mental Wellness Ministry present

“Nail Salon Confessions” A Mental Wellness Forum”

Saturday June 28, 2025 3:00pm

Individuals will share their experiences in various areas.
Come share, find encouragement for emotional healing.

Give Blood Give Life:  The SBC Men’s fellowship is sponsoring
the annual Blood Drive on Saturday June 28 in the fellowship
hall.  You can go register to give blood at
www.redcrossblood.org and use code SBCOMH or see Bro
Scott or Rev Mike to sign up.


Save the date: This year, VBS will be held in the evenings July 14,
2025 through July 18, 2025. Please check your bulletin for periodic
updates.  While July is a few months away, you can participate now. 
We are accepting donations for the following items you would
normally throw away:
 Clean empty paper towel rolls
 Clean empty toilet tissue rolls
 Clean egg cartons 
 Clean container lids (pickle jars, wide mouth drink lids)
You may give to Sis. Lynette or leave in the classrooms.

If any older choir member needs a ride to choir rehearsal

please notify the office so we can make arrangements.

The SBC Mental Health Ministry is being restructured, in the meantime

New Jersey Durable Power of Attorney and Advance Directive
Forms for you to take and look over at your leisure, they are available
in the information rack is in the foyer. If you are interested in completing
them, please make an appointment with Nicola Laury or Patricia Ware,
by calling the church or emailing the mental health ministry we can
review and notarize for you.


There are free medication deactivation and disposal kits available
after service on the table located outside the sanctuary.

MENTAL HEALTH MINISTRY INTRODUCTION

The SBC Mental Health Ministry is a team of trained personnel available to assist you with your Mental Health needs. If you are in need of someone to discuss your Mental Health concerns you can reach us by  secure email ministryofmentalhealth@gmail.com or calling the SBC at 609-267-4732 and a clinician will contact you within 48hours. The team checks the email Mon-Friday during work hours only.
